CAOBISCO Statement on the war In Ukraine
CAOBISCO expresses its solidarity with the people of Ukraine, our thoughts are with all those affected by this terrible invasion. We are deeply troubled by the intensifying gravity of the situation and ensuing worsening humanitarian conditions.
Safety, protection and support of employees in Ukraine is the number one priority for our members operating in Ukraine. CAOBISCO and many of our members are closely working with humanitarian groups and charities, providing food donations and aid to help affected communities.
As food manufacturers, we follow closely the challenging impacts of this situation on supply chains and we call on all parties to ensure a safe passage of essential, raw materials, food and drink products, particularly to those in need, at all times.
CAOBISCO welcomes the fact that all EU countries are united and are showing a clear stance during this time.
