WE ARE HIRING: Regulatory & Scientific Affairs Intern

The intern will provide support to the Secretariat on topics related to policy issues on food science, nutrition, Regulatory affairs and trade. Reporting directly to the Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Manager, the intern will provide essential support for ongoing initiatives that facilitate industry compliance, research and advocacy efforts.
Key responsibilities
- Provide support in regulatory monitoring with focus on contaminants, food ingredients, food information to consumers, trade and nutrition at EU and Global level (e.g. Codex Alimentarius).
- Conduct background research and prepare analysis on relevant policy dossiers.
- Provide support in drafting technical documents, guidance materials, and member communications.
- Provide support with data collections and analysis
- Provide support with the organisation of internal and external sector specific meetings
PROFILE
CAOBISCO is looking for a Regulatory and Scientific Affairs profile, with:
- An academic background in Food Science, Food Law or Nutrition
- General knowledge and interest in the EU, its processes and policies
- Solid communication skills and a desire to develop a personal network in Brussels
- Verbal & written fluency in English
